He has served many roles for CASP over the years: Including Region II Rep and has served on a number of committees currently: Legislative Advocacy, Professional Learning, and Assessment the last of which he has chaired for the past 5 or more years. He has written and co-authored CASP Position Papers such as Regarding African American Student Achievement and Success and the recent CASP Resource Papers-School Psychology Practice during COVID Series #1 and #2.
James has taught introductory to intermediate statistics at the graduate level as well as research methodology and program evaluation. He has consulted on many projects and programs throughout his career and is often sought after to help explain complex systems and models so that they are easily understandable and relatable.
